  1. I sincerely appreciate the offer and I hope accept it. My only problem is that I have no idea when Dr. Ross will be able to perform the transplant. As I briefly explained on the phone my only window this year for the procedure is mid-September. When will Dr. Ross be able to provide me with a time frame of his availability? Thanks again!
  2. I did not have zero growth that is correct. The issue is that my frontal left transplanted region has at least double the density of the right region. Also, the right region has very sporadic growth and in some places far less than half the density of the left side. So I would say that this is not a completely successful transplant, or possibly a ~75% successful transplant. But Spanker is right, this could be corrected with better communication from Dr. Ross. He came highly recommended and you can view several successful transplants on his website. I honestly hoped after my first visit they would start following up with me due to my concern with the results. Hopefully he will contact me soon. Thanks everyone!
  3. I received a transplant from Dr. Ross in September 2010. I tried to be patient and positive while I waited for my results to come to light. After 11 months I decided to contact Dr. Ross for a follow-up because my transplant density was not very symmetric at all. In fact the right side is less than half as dense as the left (I had a second opinion last week and a microscope was used). I was unable to get an appointment with Dr. Ross and instead saw his coordinator. She told me to try using Rogaine for a 3-6 months and that the hair had not all grown in yet. I did as was prescribed with little results. Finally June 11 I contacted Dr. Ross to setup another follow-up. I was unable to get through after several tries that day and ended up leaving a message. By Wednesday June 13 I had not had a return message so I called and send an e-mail. I never received a return call and decided to stop by on Friday. There was a note on the door saying that the office was closed for vacation until June 18. I was very surprised this was not noted on the voicemail and that they did not have an automated response for e-mail inquires. Anyways, Valery called and left me a message on Monday June 18 explaining something had come up and Dr. Ross was out of town. She said she would contact me soon to setup my appointment. I have still not heard from her and have not received any contact from anyone in the office sense. This is not the first time his office has had difficulties with communication and I feel this is a bit unacceptable. I am not one to try to hurt someones reputation, but I do not know what else I can do aside from having another transplant from another doctor. Can anyone here help? EDIT: Before I was actually able to submit this post I received a call back from Valery in his office. She was unable to give me an any information on when he would be available to see patients but she would call me back as soon as she knew which could be weeks. This is a very weird and very unprofessional situation.
