  1. I guess it's the "tugging" on the newly transplanted hairs that I'm worried about. I believe that after 10 days they are firmly rooted so after 18 days now it should be okay. Would just like confirmation from a professional or someone else with good knowledge of the recovery process.
  2. No; I just want my hair to look like it did pre-Op, I know how I looked then and how I look now. I just need to know whether it would be okay to shave the new hairs before they come back gradually.
  3. Hi, I had my HT op 17 days ago and need to get back to work next week. However, my recipient area is still showing no signs of shedding and it will be very obvious when I go back to work that I've had a HT. Is it okay to shave the recipient area at this stage? The scabs are long gone and the transplanted hairs seem fairly secure in my scalp now. I would never have had the transplant if it meant walking into work and everyone asking, "Have you had a hair transplant?" - a subtle change over time was what I was after...not a "whoa!" effect George
