No worries - does Bisanga use the manual punch or motorized for FUE?
Not 100% sure so best to check with the clinic.

Hi Grigriman,
Who was the doctor?
I can't decide who to go with and I've had very little input from fellow forum members - hoping to hear from other people as to who they think are good at FUE for the crown.
Sorry! Dr Bisanga was my surgeon (second procedure with him) . I just updated my original post.

Looks great; would love to see some hairline pictures.
Thank you.
I’ll try to include some in my 7 month update.

looks very good, do you ever plan on growing it out?
Thank you.
Yes I’m going to try and grow it to 2/ 3 inches on top.

GRIGRIMAN,
Can I ask if you've been cutting or buzzing your hair? I just want to gauge my hair transplant with yours at 5 months.
Yeh - I have been buzzing it to a number 2.

I recently had my second procedure with Dr Bisanga.
The first procedure procedure exceeded my expectations and I am waiting for the outcome of my second procedure.
I spent 2 years researching and meeting different surgeons.
I actively looked for negative reviews for BHR on the forums and I couldn’t find any that concerned me.
I also met one “representative” for a clinic who had repair work with him!
Nevertheless I still got cold feet and postponed surgery after I had made an appointment.
My recommendation is to do your research so you can have no regrets.

Today I am 4 month post op.
To recap, I had 2700 FUE so approximately 1350 in the crown and 1350 in the frontal third.
See attached photos pre-op and as I stand 4 months post op (note, the pre-op photos were taken indoors and the post-op photo of me in the Orange jacket was taken outdoors. Also, my hair was 12mm in length pre-op and is 6mm today).

You've got it wrong on page 1: The pic on the left is of Luke Goss. The pic on the right his twin brother, Matt Goss. Two different people you're displaying here, albeit identical twins nonetheless.
Edit: Proof below.
Matt Goss is on the left. Luke Goss, his twin brother, is on the right.

Matt goss I believe this to be a hair piece rather than a transplant as I said he was Norwood 7
Matt Goss always used to wear a baseball cap. Now he has a full head of hair which I suspect is a hair piece.
However I think you’ll find the photo of the bald head is Luke Goss, his brother.

Hey Guys,
I recently underwent a FUE . I am 6 days Post Op and I feel a burning and pinching sensation in my scalp donor area. Its nothing that I can not bear but on a scale of 1 to 10 , I would rate this pain as 6-7. Is this normal ? I am alittle concerned because its causing me a great discomfort and I have to get back to work in few days from now. With this pain its hard to concentrate.
Its worth noting that beard donor area has been absolutely fine with no pain at all.
I have sent an email to my doctor regarding this and awaiting a reply from him. Meanwhile I thought I would ask experienced people here in the forum to figure out if this is something I should be worrying about ?
I recently had my second FUE and experienced the same discomfort in my donor from day 3. On a scale of 0-10, I rate it as a 4 however just one Ibuprofen tablet (200mg) reduced it to a 1 and really helped me sleep. I am now day 11 and the discomfort has significantly reduced.
Considering the thousands of punches (and the injections), I think surprising that this is considered a "rare" occurence.
I also experienced the same discomfort after my first FUE.

As I sit here sipping green tea, I am reflecting on my second FUE with Dr Bisanga.
My first session was four years ago and I had a result I never dreamed of. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/173413-bisanga-fue-2995-dec-2013-a.html
11 days ago I had an additional 2,700 grafts dropped in to strengthen my crown and frontal third.
I am now hoping for a positive result and will report back in four months. In the meantime, I would like to thank Chris and his team for the excellent post operative care received.

I had surgery with Dr Bisanga in 2013.
I spent 2 years researching to make my decision.
Best decision I ever made and I have booked my second surgery with him which is scheduled next week.

Great post.
This topic is very relevant to me.
My preference is a conservative hairline saving grafts to address the crown.
-
Damn. I'm in a similar position with respect to my crown so I'll be monitoring responses closely.
-
Any top down photos.
Interesting to see how far back was transplanted with 5500 grafts.
I would love to see some pics of the crown?
Great result Dr.

Have you any recent pictures of where you stand today?
Hello Ontop. The photo in my first post in this thread is recent.

I don't have time to get out the MS paint, but what are your thoughts of doing just the front have of the crown, basically stopping around where the head starts to slope down? I think this could be beneficial without blowing too many grafts. I would keep about 2k grafts in the bank for maintenance of your previous work.
Thank you Spanker. Yes - this may be the way to go.
-
Thanks for the information and good to hear that the crown loss seems quite stable it would depend on what your total donor area still has to give keeping some in reserve for future loss.
I believe I have 3,000-4,000 grafts left in the bank.

Hi Grigriman,
I would agree with what WHTC clinic says. They appears to be spaces to safely implant the grafts without doing damage to the surrounding hairs. Do you feel that the crown has got much worse in the last two years? Do you think Regaine is holding things for you?
I would be very cautious about placing many hairs in the crown as although your sides look quite strong now what happens if they drop and the crown opens up. Would need a in person consultation to be able to see if this was a likelihood in the near future.
Thank you for the response David & I agree I should proceed with caution.
My hair loss in my crown doesn't seem to have progressed much in the past 2 years. Difficult to know if Regaine has had much impact but it hasn't made it worse.
