  1. I am new to these forums but I have been doing a tremendous amount of research and I can tell you that this is not normal. Your post-op wounds look bad. Did you really use Hitzig? I hope you did your research. He let garbage workers perform surgery on his patients years ago. Not a man to be trusted. You should seek out a top repair doctor now. It sounds like you live on the East Coast. The best doctors to see are probably Dr. Berstein or Dr Feller. If you live on the west coast, I would suggest Dr. Rassman. Midwest, Dr. Shapiro. These are all people I would consider if I had to trust someone with my hair. You should never let distance be a factor.
  2. Thanks for your kind message

  3. Hello, This week I will be having my 1 year follow up with a hair transplant surgeon in Southern California. I really did not go into that first session with a hair transplant as an absolute must. In fact, the doctor told me that I was NOT a candidate at that time (too young, potential shock loss, hair loss isn't cosmetically unbearable...ect) I was given a Proscar prescription and have taken it without fail. Again, I am having my second consultation this week after 1 year on Proscar and though I am much wiser about the process, I would appreciate some advice. I am guessing he will recommend that I stay the course with the Proscar for now which is okay with me but stil.... What kinds of questions should I ask during this follow up? I want to make the most of my limited time. Thanks - RE P.S. My Stats for reference Age - 26 First noticed hair loss - @ 25, but I am guessing it was going on for a while before I noticed (like everyone) Hair Color - Light Brown Texture - Slightly Wavy Density - 2.0 hairs per mm^2 Current Pattern - Somewhere in the Norwood 2 range Expected Pattern - Class 3 Initial Mapping and Density Measurements from first visit: 80% Miniaturization on the Front Corners Less than 20% on Top, Midscalp, Crown. Desired result: Maintain and eventually restore hairline when the time is right. I will ONLY undertake an FUE procedure. STRIP is NOT an option. If that cuts my donors supply in half, so be it. Thanks again for your feedback and advice!

  5. This is my first post and I just wanted to say hello. This site is such a tremendous resource and I have been reading it on and off for a while now. I have some questions for the more experienced people here but I don't want to ask for something in my first post. For now let me just say say hello, thanks and I hope to be a positive contributor someday as I gain more insight into this whole complicated process. Kind Regards - RE
