Who is the doctor? I know he's said to be "very prominent" and in NYC, Strong. But the way he placed the grafts up front, the spaces in between them were considerably bigger than I've accustomed to seeing posted by patients of elite doctors. Now, with his handling of the results so far, there's even more issues to consider with him or her. It would be good information to know.

Unfortunately, the value of hairstylists' opinions on matters of hairloss is pretty much value-less. Sure, they'll tell you what you want to hear and attribute it to a cowlick, or even a double cowlick. but the simple fact is they don't know.

This could very well be the early stages of hair loss. The fact that you suddenly noticed a difference suggests that something is going on.

I did notice that that background and lighting of the photos looks very similar to those for allamerican44. Maybe they used the same doctor.

The work looks good.. in particular, the hairline looks like it's been designed very naturally.

This makes me curious if the Dr. Bolton patients who've been posting here received multi-bladed scars on the backs of their heads. I'd be interested in finding out.

The shaved look looks good on you. Absolutely you can pull it off. Only thing is, and this might be a photo illusion... did you leave more on top than on the sides? It seems darker up on top than the sides. My only suggestion, if this is the case, is to buzz down the top even further so it matches the sides.

The photos concerned me too. I'm pulling for you Lisco but I'm worried about the placement and the size of the grafts.

Sounds worrisome to me. I would trust your gut instincts that this is in fact a red flag. Count your blessings you asked the right question, and move on.
