    Almost all hair restoration surgeons work on female patients. Depending on the pattern of hair loss, a female hair transplant can be identical to a male hair transplant. However, if a woman is looking to strengthen the hairline and temple there are certain things that will be different. Size of grafts and hair direction, for example. As Mattj stated, highly reputable hair transplant surgeons in general are skilled at treating hair loss regardless of a person's gender. However, research is very important.
