A few hours after my transplant

Back at the hotel, a few hours after 2000 grafts with Dr Saifi in Wroclaw poland
  3. Hi guys, thanks for you wishes, I am back home now, healing and I am very happy with Dr Saifi's work, his artistry and his dedication to help people. The city of Wroclaw is a must to visit, it's buildings, history, restaurants and bars, not to mention the market square are all world class and it's a credit to have such a great place to look around whilst having hair surgery. The doctors surgery is pristine and modern, I was very impressed with the consultation as I felt both me and Dr. Saifi had the same ideas as to the best course of action. I had previous hair transplant repair work that needed addressing and Dr Saifi fixed this within the set fee, so I was very happy. I had around 2000 grafts and the repair work carried out in around 8 hours, the doctor is very hands on, doing all the work himself, and planting all the grafts whilst being assisted with his very capable assistants. Dr. Saifi explained what he was doing throughout the proceedure which put me at ease. From start to finish I felt absolutely no pain, the doctor takes his time injecting the anesthetic giving each small area time to numb before moving along to inject the next area, thus making sure you will not feel a thing. After the operation is finished you will leave with all the medication and painkillers you need with a written instruction leaflet. I will post updated pictures in the next few days so that you can see the refinity of the graft placement yourselves. Dr Saifi for me proves that hair transplantation is affordable to the masses and the standard of the work, the clinic and the city is up there with the best. I now have to play the long waiting game but I am convinced I am going to be thrilled with my new lease of life.
  4. Well I have arrived at wraclaw in Poland to have my surgery with Dr Saifi tomorrow morning, I was picked up at the airport by Chris, Dr Saifi's taxi driver and driven into the heart of this beautiful city where the doctor put me up in the art hotel which is very nice in a fantastic location. I will be picked up at the hotel after breakfast and driven to the clinic at half nine, I will keep you posted
  5. Hi guys, I have been researching surgeons for about a year now and although many people on these forums say cost should not be an issue when considering a hair transplant, unfortunately not all people are in the position to not consider cost so for me I narrowed it down to three, Dr Madhu in India, Dr Pong in Thailand and Dr Saifi in Poland. The logistics in going to India and thisland put me off, I want to go and be back quickly and not have to apply for visas and get injections Ect. Thanks for your wishes the portchester pirate, I will pass on your message lol
  6. Hi, Dr.Saifi charges ?2950 for 2000 grafts so he is considerably cheaper than some of the quotes I received in the U.K. If you go to a recommended surgeon in the UK, of which I think there is only one, you would pat around ?6-8 k for the treatment which begs another question, why is this surgery so expensive, some surgeons are bleeding desperate people of there money, I'm not saying it should be done at the surgeons expense and I understand that they are mostly talented at what they do but some surgeons are charging obscene amounts for a simple procedure and I don't just mean hair restoration but Most "plastic" procedures. Dr Saifi's pricing scale seems fair and proportionate and thanks to him it is a procedure I can consider, I could not consider it if I had to pay UK prices so the greed of some surgeons has priced them out of a huge market of people who would otherwise present a constant stream of people coming through there doors.
  7. Hi buzz, I fly out next week, I will give you a full report and I will post pictures when I get back to the hotel, not to long to wait now, but I feel I have made a good choice with Dr Saifi, I'm quite suprised about the silence of any critics, normally they jump all over you if you consider a surgeon not recommended on this site, is he about to be considered for recommendation?? Best regards
  8. Thanks for your wishes, it's less than 2 weeks now till I go under Dr. Saifi's knife, I an a little anxious, mainly because I so badly want to be able to burn the hairpiece I've been forced to live under for so many years, I want to live a normal life with hair, Secondly because of the hatchet men who went to work on my head last time and took all my money, I just don't want to be in this position again. I will post full and detailed reports of my trip for anyone considering Dr saifi, Many thanks
  9. I am having one with him on the 15th September, I will give a full review with detailed accounts and pictures to help people with the decision process. So far I've had a phone chat with him and he seems very patient and mild mannered and really takes his time to explain and answer your questions, I like him as a person which is a good start, you don't want an impatient doctor lose on your scald but in addition to his mild manner he has some very nice high definition pictures on his website which to me seem better that some coalition members pictures on this site, maybe he should be recommended on this site
  10. Well I'm all booked to see Dr. Saifi on the 15th of September, flights sorted and I'm being put up in the art hotel, great to read about your experiences and they have been a help in my decision process. I will keep you all fully posted and briefed with lots of photos and detailed accounts for any future people considering Dr Saifi
