  1. Interesting thread, I look forward to checking out all your results! I've noticed it mentioned a number of time that Dr Saifi is considered cheaper than most, anyone have any idea on the price difference between him and recommended (by this site) hair restoration physician across Europe. I've checked out their websites but struggle to find a price guide?

Hi, Dr.Saifi charges ?2950 for 2000 grafts so he is considerably cheaper than some of the quotes I received in the U.K. If you go to a recommended surgeon in the UK, of which I think there is only one, you would pat around ?6-8 k for the treatment which begs another question, why is this surgery so expensive, some surgeons are bleeding desperate people of there money, I'm not saying it should be done at the surgeons expense and I understand that they are mostly talented at what they do but some surgeons are charging obscene amounts for a simple procedure and I don't just mean hair restoration but Most "plastic" procedures.

Dr Saifi's pricing scale seems fair and proportionate and thanks to him it is a procedure I can consider, I could not consider it if I had to pay UK prices so the greed of some surgeons has priced them out of a huge market of people who would otherwise present a constant stream of people coming through there doors.

  2. Hi buzz, I fly out next week, I will give you a full report and I will post pictures when I get back to the hotel, not to long to wait now, but I feel I have made a good choice with Dr Saifi, I'm quite suprised about the silence of any critics, normally they jump all over you if you consider a surgeon not recommended on this site, is he about to be considered for recommendation??

    Best regards

  3. Thanks for your wishes, it's less than 2 weeks now till I go under Dr. Saifi's knife, I an a little anxious, mainly because I so badly want to be able to burn the hairpiece I've been forced to live under for so many years, I want to live a normal life with hair,

Secondly because of the hatchet men who went to work on my head last time and took all my money, I just don't want to be in this position again.

I will post full and detailed reports of my trip for anyone considering Dr saifi,

    Many thanks

  4. I am having one with him on the 15th September, I will give a full review with detailed accounts and pictures to help people with the decision process.

So far I've had a phone chat with him and he seems very patient and mild mannered and really takes his time to explain and answer your questions, I like him as a person which is a good start, you don't want an impatient doctor lose on your scald but in addition to his mild manner he has some very nice high definition pictures on his website which to me seem better that some coalition members pictures on this site, maybe he should be recommended on this site

  5. Well I'm all booked to see Dr. Saifi on the 15th of September, flights sorted and I'm being put up in the art hotel, great to read about your experiences and they have been a help in my decision process.

I will keep you all fully posted and briefed with lots of photos and detailed accounts for any future people considering Dr Saifi

  6. Dr Saifi is newly registered this year and if you look on there website, is is listed, I have been reserching thoroughly Dr Saifi as he was one of my final two choices to preform my hair transplant along with Dr. Madhu in India. I know Dr Madhu is recommended on this forum but traveling, visa and flights ect made the logistics of going to India unapealing to me as I can get a flight to Poland so easy from my local airport in the UK.

Also Dr Saifi's pictures on his website look very good to me, I would be interested to here what a senior member thinks, they are much more detailed than Dr Madhu's pictures.

So I have finally booked for my transplant which will take place with Dr Saifi on the 15th september and of course I will give a detailed account of my experience with Dr Saifi along with detailed pictures and updates.

  7. I am considering using Dr. Saifi but there is not a lot on here about him, he has all the latest qualifications (ISHRS) & (ABHRS),

Does anyone know anything about him that may be usefull to me, I have narrowed my search down to Dr Saifi and Dr Madhu, I know all the senior members will say stick with Dr Madhu as he is a paying member,

    Thanks for any input

As youcan see from my updated photos, I no longer believe the finesteride to be fake as I have had amazing re growth of hair, very happy so far, much fewer grafts will be needed than I first thought, can someone advise me what norwood scale I am. Many thanks

  8. Hi all,

i ordered 5mg finesteride on the net and received them today, they have come from india and bear the brand name finatas-5 by a company called intas.

when i have tried to look them up, its very difficult to find any information about them. intas has a web site but not the product.

Does any of you know what the situation is with receiving medication from india, is it just a generic copy or will it be a fake product?

    regards

  9. thanks for your input gentlemen, i do intent to get my grafts thinned out using FUE and re distributed and it was 1500 uk pounds wb220, around 2000 dollers for 3500 grafts.

Dr madhu is a name that keeps coming up although coming in at an extra 1000 uk pounds (1500 us dollers) more, at least he has a reputation.

I will keep searching high and low, thanks for now gents, i will keep you informed of my progress

  10. can any of you help me on this subject, i am new to this site as i am in the reserch phase of looking for a hair transplant,

I find such huge variations is prices quoted, even within india. A surgion in india can quote me 1500 uk pounds for 3500 grafts and supertrichophytic closure for FUT strip method yet another surgeon can quote 3500 pounds within india, yet in england i can get quotes of 8000 pounds.

I dont have lots of money to spend, in fact i dont have any but if you look at my album its a matter of having to do something now, ive lived with this mess for 20 years, half my life.

So i really want to beleive that i can get a good job done for as little as 1500 pounds, The surgion says all the right things with promises of good density.

Its such a minefield and im terrified of making the same mistakes as 20 years ago with my messy plug grafts, and blowing whatever ive managed to scrape together.

I have tried to reserch this surgeon but cant find anything possitive or negative on the net.

can any of you recomend a good but cheap surgion in india or anywhere else for that matter.

    many thanks....:)
