Thanks Spanker. I'll get back on both. I was told that the minox would initiate graft growth, but that it wasn't needed in the long-term. Larry Shapiro did my procedure. I'll schedule my follow-up. By the way: the 'nice comb-over' thing I mentioned was supposed to be a little sarcastic... I'm not wanting a comb-over. The sarcasm didn't translate well.

I had a transplant in August of '09 (2,700 grafts to cover Type III Vertex (3.5"W) that creeps forward). Took the proscar generic daily and applied minoxidil once a day (I had a bad reaction if I did more than that). I stopped the drugs at the 1 year mark, per my paperwork. Right now, I'm looking at a nice comb-over on the front and a pretty much naked back-of-the-head. I would prefer to ask an 'unbiased' group a couple of questions: Realistically, should I be seeing dramatic results by now? What should those results be? I know that it will never be as thick as it was when I was 16, but will I always need to do the comb-over type of maintenance?
