  1. Hey, I've met the Farjo's as they are good friends with my trichologist. They are great, caring doctor's. Just explain your concern over the situation, they have seen it plenty of times so will be fully understanding. There is no way they will work on you at your age, but they will probably advise you in contacting a trichologist to get a prescription for Propecia. Good luck
  2. removed outside link. However, coalition surgeon Dr. Jerry Cooley has become actively involved in this product and can probably offer further insight.
  3. "Obviously , Hasson and Wong are great FUE exponents. Dr. Feller and his rep always recommend FUE first because they know a guy with a lot of loss doesn't need a scar on his head if he's relying on meds as he ages" Parallel universe?
  4. I went to a dcotor and he did all the punching and removing of grafts from the donor, then made all the recipient sites. The techs placed all the grafts. From what I've read in the past I believe this is the correct way FUE should be performed.
  5. Hey Russ, Yeah they will thicken and darken for definate, some of mine were an inch long and almost invisible they were that fine and light!!
  6. I don't see it being wrong to work on younger patients if that's what they really need to live a functioning life again, and they are prepared to to keep up surgery if further loss occurs. That hairline isn't agressive and if the patient understands the boundaries of hair restoration why is it so bad just because he's 22?
  7. I tried it on my chinning bar and had to come down after a few minutes because my head felt too weird full of blood lol
  8. If you are young though and have a history of high norwood pattern hairloss in the family then he won't work on your temples.
  9. Hey, Yeah it's ok I went through the same thing, and asked a similar question on here. At 2 months I still had about 100 grafts on each side of my head that hadn't shed. I only noticed 4-5 shed for the next month then the rest just started growing in the burst at around 3.5 months.
  10. I looked into this a while back and I'm sure I read that it is common practice. It would be sickeningly taxing on the Dr if they were to create all of the punch holes then have to remove every single graft.Hopefully this will be confirmed..
  11. I think you may of asked me about scarring in another thread. I'm only at 5months post op but I'm really happy with the density so far, apart from the temples which seem to be coming on slower, although I can see they are on their way.
  12. No problem. I opted for FUE in the end and Farjo offer strip only. I had a consultation with him last year though and he's a very ethical and professional doctor.
  13. You should be looking at the Farjo clinic in Manchester. They are the only one's worth looking at in the UK as far as I know and they have worked on some high profile clients. Some of their work will be on this site if you search for it. GL
  14. Thanks man, I'm happy so far anyway coming upto 5 months. With all FUE there will be some scarring but its disguised alot better.I'm sure if I wet shaved my head you could see some evidence. I've had it shaved back and sides down to a number 2 and there was zero evidence of scarring. My hair isn't the thickest either. I'm shaving it down to a 1 tomorrow so I'll see how that turns out.
