  1. It may go through initially, but don't be surprised of you get a letter from the company questioning the charge and then sending you a bill to cover it. I know ours has been increasingly strict about what they do and do not cover. Just remember, do not put that $$ in the account without knowing FOR CERTAIN if it can be used for this purpose, because once it's put in there, you have to use it by the end of the year for approved purposes
  2. My work is a very casual operation, so I can wear baseball caps and bandanas. Socially, my close friends know about the HT. I had been bitching and moaning about my hair for quite some time (especially during the summer when the top of my head would get sunburned despite sunscreen) last night however, posed a challenge for me, as we were going out to a very nice restaurant. The cap ot bandana thing was not going to fly. I was going to tie a scarf around my head, but it was kind of long and I didn't want it ending up in my food. So yes I did the combover (+ a little toppik) and a little hairspray, and it worked just fine. Relieved a lot of worry, as it's holiday season soon, and we have a lot of things on the calendar. And BTW, at home I don't wear the cap. My 10 year old knows about the HT and is absolutely fascinated. My 5 year old hasn't even noticed that mom's hair is buzzed on top. Hmmm.
  3. This one is about 1 week post op: BTW, Dr. Feller was great. I'm so glad I chose him. Janis
  4. Hi- bad work ID picture, but it kind of shows the hair loss on top. BTW, I am 16 days post op, 1685, strip by Dr Feller. Janis

  6. He did 1685- all on top, behind the hairline- (typical female pattern baldness). I guess it was too much for FUE. Janis
  7. Thanks for your welcome. I don't have any pictures of my own yet, although the Dr. does (Dr. Feller- he was great). Maybe I'll have my 10 yr old take a pic and I'll attach it. My son is very intrigued by the whole process. I was not sure what I was going to tell him at first, but I just explained the situation to him and he was fine....
  8. HI- I am new to this forum. I have been reading it and I think it is great that there is such a supportive and informative forum here. Well, here is my story....I am a female who has had just had the procedure done 1 week ago. On day 11, I am due to have the staples removed. Will this be very painful? I am stressing out already. TIA for any responses. Jan
