Hi Bill, Thanks! I recieced almost 3,00 graphs. I spoke to Marks office and they confirmed he uses a single blade. I'm not that technical but not sure of the difference. I've had two procedures and barely can find the last scra. What is the difference between single and multi blade? Here are the latest pics. I measured the results and from my eye brows to my temple hair line there is a 1.75" increase in hairline, I also measure the front to the bridge of the nose and there is .75" hairline increase. To me this is a "significant" increase in hair line for 2900 graphs. Especially with the quality of coverage. My before pics are a bit decieving as I had no hair up front but a small patch that like all men was able to make it look more than it was. Mark did a fabulous job! Please see the attached pics. I can't wait to get my final application next month! Enjoy!

That's curious ? Sorry you don't see the change.. It's pretty clear in the "after" photo I have lots of hair in the areas I didn't previously, and that's only at seven months . I will share the final pics later today and maybe you'll be able to see it better then.. Cheers!

I'm a recent patient of Dr DiStefano and would like to share my results. I would be glad to share any info. that may help someone new to the process I just went through. I've had good success and actually created a type of Diary to document when things would happen and what to expect the next time I got the procedure done. It was helpful. I've attached my before and 7 month photo and will post my most recent pics (after second procedure) this weekend. Good luck in your search for info! Pat, Thanks for your feedback, I like responding to folks based on what I read in the forum and my experience. I've used these forums to get a patient's point view of the avialable drs. and services and wanted to share my recent experience, hoping it helps. Per the previous request I attached, before and after (@ 7 months), I will create a post with updated pics (now after a year) and my experience. Thanks for the feedback!

I am a current patient of Dr Distefano and I have had 2 sessions.. total 2,973 grafts... 855 - single hair follicles.... 1,318 - 2 haired follicles .... 800 - 3 haired follicles. I had a significant receding hair line and decided in early 2007 to get my 1st procedure done. I am happy to say after two procedures my hair is growing great and I now have a full head of hair. The procedure was very comfortable as the team of people who work with you during the procedure are very personable as is Dr. Distefano, you really feel like you're with friends, which I never felt at a Drs. Office. The procedure itself was pretty painless with minor discomfort, but after the numbing it's clear sailing with a good movie and good conversation with the Dr. Assistants. I can confirm that the Dr used a "single" blade knife, not sure where the misinformation came from? I also will share my photos as you CANNOT tell I had a HT and I thinks it's best to hear from people who actually had the procedure with the Dr. that is being discussed to get true feedback. Dr Distefano did a great job and several friends are considering the procedure. I would be glad to share helpful information on the procedure as well as before and after photos. I kept great notes.. Office. The procedure itself was pretty painless with minor discomfort with the initial pricks of numbing medicine, but after that it's clear sailing with a good movie and good conversation with the Dr. Assistants. They brought me a great sub for lunch and then back to work. The post procedures are clearly explained to you and it all fell into place in the coming months, literally. I would be glad to share any helpful information on the procedure as well as before and after photos which are impressive.
