  1. When I was having my consultation at Bosley, I saw pictures of Bosley with Dennis Miller, Steven Segal, Kenny Rogers, and Joe Weider. Who knows ?? Oh, does anyone else but me think Conan O'Brien has had one? He does that little come over thing in the front, but you can definitely tell he has that surgical "V" in the front. Looks pretty damn good though, and insight?
  2. Yea I was wondering about that episode too. I also remember one from about a month ago where the guy went from a Norwood 5 or 6 to almost no recession at all, after his "hair restoration." Oh, and the hair was at least 4 to 5 inches long. So it had to have been a piece, considering the tranformation is only supposed to be over a period of about 3 months.
  3. Tioto - I did have a procedure by Bosley, and as I said in one of my posts, I think they did a fine job. But, only 300 graphs were done, and maybe I lucked out because it wasn't a big procedure, who knows? However, after reading all of these posts, and seeing some of the pictures of people on this forum from Epstein's work, I think the very safe thing to do would be to go to Dr. Epstein. I have not heard one negative thing about him. He is also highly recommended by other forums as well. So I will probably end up there, and I feel very comfortable about it.
  4. Hey everyone - I wanted to know what the deal was behind this drug. Does it work, any side effects, things like that. If anyone has any feedback, please feel free to share. Thanx very much

  6. RCX - Thanx for responding. It sounds to me that Dr. Epstein is definitely one of the best, and I will most likely end up going with him. Thanx again
  7. Tioto Thanx for the response, has the hair started growing yet? Would you have any picture by any chance? Thanx again
  8. Hey everyone, "Hairworthy" told me about Dr. Epstein in Miami. I went to his website and his crudentials looked amazing, as well as his photos. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on Dr. Epstein, or better yet, has had procedures done by him. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanx very much

  15. Hey everybody, I've been on Propecia for over a year now and have not noticed any fallout (thank goodness) so I know it works. But what's the deal with Avacor, does it work or not? And I think it comes in capsule form, is this true. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanx

  17. tberry I had my procedure done in the Boca Office by Dr. Dean - I payed about $2,000 - $2,500 (can't remember exactly. I do not have any pictures. I went to them because initially I saw their advertisements like everyone else, asked a few doctors about them, and no one really had anything bad to say. JCWhair - how many grafts did you have done - do you have any pictures? Thanx Jeff Bowers
  18. Hi everyone, I found this site just last night and decided it might be a wise idea to join. I have been reading a lot of negative remarks in regards to many different surgeons (except Shapiro of course). So I figured I would just put in my two cents. I am almost 23 years old and am an NW2 - Not terribly bad, but I'm very yong so it's naturally bothering me. I had a procedure done by one of Bosley offices, and I have to be honest fellas, it went pretty damn well. I went in for a consult, and the Doc said I don't really need anything done yet, maybe just a few hundred grafts, but he said I should wait (which was very proffesional). However, I insisted on the few hundred grafts so we went ahead an scheduled. It has been about 8 months since the procedure and everything is just fine. I have a little scar from my donor area which is easily covered up by a number "3" with clippers. I only had 300 grafts put in across my entire hairline, so naturally it wont make much of a difference, but there is no way whatsoever, I can remotely tell the difference between the transplanted and natural hair. (There is also no scarring whatsoever in the front) The Doc and the staff were very proffesional and extremely curtious. I also went and cheked my surgeons crudetials: This guy was a general and vascular surgeon, and served as chief of suregery at his former hospital! I plan on going back in a couple months and filling in the rest of the hairline. I can't think of one good reason I shouldn't - the procedure went splendedly. Just thought I would put that out there for everyone, feel free to respond. And "MEHAIRBEGROWING", before I hear how "terrible" they are etc. etc. I do just want to say I am sorry for what has happened in the past, but from my understanding that was years ago - and the technology is night and day, but I am sorry. P.S. - what's the deal with Avacor - is this stuff legit? Thanx fellas - talk to you guys later.
