I can see all the grafts in the temple and hairline area and they look well done. He did tell me that there's a possibility for more eventually. Now the waiting period begins. I just wanted to thanks this incredible site!!!

  18. Just a comment - I recently started using dermatch and it's great for me. It seems to make my hair look thicker on top and hide, to an extent, some areas. I also used it on my eyebrows where there's also spaces. Certainly not a solution but a small positive until my HT! However, I can't leave it on for more than a day without washing my hair, makes it kinda thick and yucky

  22. once again, I really appreciate all the information and support. There doesn't seem to be as much info on Epstein, any particular reason? My appointments are on Jan 26th and I can't wait! this forum has really educated me. Hopefully,I'll only need one procedure.
  23. Thanks1 I'll see how my consults go with those two and dr Feller would be the next one to see.
  24. I understand and appreciate all your help. I just went for the consult on a whim - to learn, 'expose',out of curiosity. Yes, I have 2 appoints in Jan with Dr True and Dr Epstein. I am so looking forward to my procedure with a coalition dr. Thanks again!
  25. I went for a consult today to dr Griffen in Pa.He said he does up to 800 grafts( which are FUs and he leaves the fat connected)and that produces approx 2000 hairs. He doesn't believe in dense packing because they have to strip off the fat pockets and use single hairs, which may not survive. He has one nurse only who implants the FUs. Ointment (antibiotics etc) are put on the area for 24 hrs and then removed.3-4 days later you can soak your head. Some stitches removed in 1 week, the rest in 3 weeks. Please advise. I really appreciate your imputs!
