  1. I remember him revealing in an interview that he is on Propecia. He was quite frank about it.

Really? Do you recall the interview, i'd like to listen to that!

He'll be on our screens again soon and i bet his hair has got even thicker no doubt, little FUE and concealer goes a long way, from what i understand.

  2. Let's not get big headed here guys eh, rememer how his hairline was before surgery and then after, OK perhaps to some here it isn't a FANTASTIC result (which for the record i think it was/is!), to the average person on the street, this guy looks like he has hair!!

Another HT will only give extra structure and density, so back off i say.

The guy has major commitments so chose the HT doc right for him, we can speculate as much as we like but there is no denying this chap has the balls to go and do what he likes, compared to many on here (me included) who don't even use their own name in their profile, as if the world is watching our every move, haa.

    Go, Rooney!!

  3. Valid points Spanker but i just feel what you've said, a lot of it is, well easier said than done. I would be mortified if someone came clean to me about something i was doing wasn't right in their eyes friend or no friend, i and they (i'm presuming) would be devestated.

Though, we are all different i guess, i just don't want someone presuming that this guy needs a kick in the balls when he may be perfectly happy as he is/with what he's doing.

I've put myself on to concealer recently and i can honestly say it's changed the way i feel about my balding, given me a confidence boost i needed and hope i don't have the look you mention amd for someone to come up and given me a verbal smack in the face.

Anyway, sorry hope i'm not derailing your thread.

  4. If it's down to concealers then good on him, good on the concealer makers and most importantly (for Dec) good on the make-up girl who must have a 1st class degree in concealer application!

...i best get on this concealer, should hold of baldness for another couple of years or so, umm.

  5. I have to mention this guy.

My diffuse thinning pattern followed that of Dec and we're the same age so i was safe in the knowledge that this guy was going the same way i was, but now, seeing them (Ant and Dec) back on the telly (sorry UK only guys) and his what-looks-like-super-thick-hair is making me a little depressed!

Anyone shed any light on what you think he may have had done, if anything or is it telly trickery?

I don't think it's entirely down to concealer right, right?

A quick Google search on Dec and you'll see what i mean.

  6. I couldn't quite believe my ears but the new series of Take Me Out (last night in the UK) Paddy made a joke of Rooneys hair being thin!!?

I like Paddy but joking about hairloss when you suffer from it yourself is below the balding belt.

He has had something done or at the very least is caked in concealer, so for him to joke about Rooney, is, well he's got a fucking nerve.

  7. Rooney's captaining England against San Marino tonight (12.10.12), pre-match interviews shows him (mostly) going au natural in regards to concealer, his hair gain looks good, i really do, just Google (images) Rooney and you'll see how far he's come, well done Rooney lad!

3 headers tonight from Rooney would be great amd if there isn't any mention about HTs during the game from the commentary, then that shows how far HTs have come to being the norm if you know what i mean...

  8. I dont think there is anything wrong with what he has done. Why should he come out and say he is using concealer? I underwent 3000 FUE and used toppik on my midsection. Many people I know that I told about my HT know about it but obviously not the toppik use. Sure he is high profile but its his own personal decision and up to people to carry out their own research so they are well aware of he limitations of an HT.

    I second this!

  9. Jotronic, you're the US answer to Karl Pilkington, haa, i doubt you're as naive or potentially that lack lustre in your being and now, not even near Karls norwood!!?

Whilst we're on Karl, i always wondered if he'd (paid for via Ricky Gervais of course!) go for a HT for a television special 'Karl tries...', just saying.

I think Karl's great hair or no hair.

Thanks for the info in this thread Jo!

  10. You're a goodfella for sharing pics Hickeyas!

I'm almost ready to try Dermatch, i'm not sure what i mean by almost, perhaps i should say willing to try, i don't know. What i mean is if i try Dermatch i don't want to become reliant on it then not know when to stop further down the line, and become one of 'those in denial' guys, i'm pretty heavy into denial as it stands but any further, then, well, it's not a good look...!?

Any thoughts on that, or would that be hi-jacking this thread?
