than me doing it! I'm so happy, I've cut my new hair 3 times already.Plus Dr Gabel says it's still coming in!
Full effect takes a few more months. But WOW
already it's thick! Quit wearing hats for 2 months now! If your on the fence! See Dr Gabel
in Portland Or. Makes a huge difference having
hair on your head again! He does unbelievably
Great work!

I used Propecia for a short time and had the sexual side effects! Scared to try it again!
Took many months to get back to normal

Doctor Skill, says it all on the strip removeal
and the resulting scar! He had the strip out and Me sewn up.I had to ask if he was starting.
"No I'm done, ready to start putting in hairs"
I was on the table 25 minutes tops!
Perfect Job Hardly any scaring I think I had a top Doctor, he had my strip and almost NO shockloss around the cut.
Had to be A super sharp knife!

Switch to the foam. I can't use the spray.
But I like the foam.

Today is exactly 2 weeks from my surgery. Everything seems to be healing up well and staples and sutures were removed last Friday.
Still a little sore on the donor area. Have one spot in particular that hurts more than the rest but not too bad. Recipient area is no longer very red and no pain there.
As of yet I haven't experienced any shedding or shockloss (knock on wood). Although I've read many places that this could start happening anytime within the next 2 months.
I have been on Propecia since the surgery at Dr Shapiros. Tonight I start back up on Rogaine foam. Was told by Shapiro and Matt this helps give the new hair a kick start.
Still nice to see and feel the new hair. Hoping that I dont lose too much over the next few months but guess it varies greatly person to person.
I will try to add some 2 week pics to my blog tonight or tomorrow. If I can find the time.

My op was 7-10-07 You feel so good having the hair on top again
(post-op) I was even going out with-out a hat
at a club.Week 1-2-3 Already better than before, I hung on till week 4-5 and In a matter of days They mostly shead out, But the prevoius hair. What little there was, that cut pre op then transplanted over. was coming up. with a few tranplanted ones that started right away and didn't shead. But tonight things are moving.I look at mine very close and see black dots appearing under the empty graphs tomorrow they will stick up a little. They sting like a pin when they first try popping through the scalp. but boy is it worth it!
ps hair vitamin 37 check it out. I figured
a much as you spend for the procedure you may as well spent $50.00 on the Vitamins. And Im
impressed Get them!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I'm moving quickly. I didn't think I would shed the hair, then with in what seemed like a couple days (week 4-5 post op) I had shed most, then slight stinging which I know is each hair on the move they feel like someone, sticking you
with a straight pin slowly. This is each pushing though.
Now after a week or more of these going on.Some hairs coming in. I'm at week 6 tuesday.
tonight all hell is breaking loose, scalp is stinging and itchie, bumpy with several zits with redness going away and most feeling except right in the center. I see what looks like razor stubble. Black dots coming under the empty
grafts( under 21/2 power mag) It's coming in whooho!

Hair vitamins 37, I thought I would try them.
Don't say they don't work. I have very obvouis
results. Hair on that was worn off on my wrists has returned. My hair every where looks better
and I think It's helping the grafts grow, the ones that have started. I have been taking them
since the first week.

My doctor gave me a spray bottle and said to spray the grafts, For 10 minutes or more several times a day.If fact the same day and the next they spray cleaned them for me Results I had minamal
crusting (scabs). I think this was the way to go. He also recommeded the mineral oil to loosen the crusts that build up that the sprayer didn't clean.I applied it once.wasn't really needed for me.If you don't do this Keep them clean. I could see where the graft area could become a big scab, I don't think that would be good!
My grafts held about a month. Then shed (90 percent) or so some stayed. And after 5 1/2 weeks some are an inch long. Now some are starting back, The rest are waiting to grow.

Hello everyone,
One thing that we have to remember is that the norwood scale is a guide to be used to determine approximately our level of hair loss. It is not a perfect guide, but it certainly does a pretty good job IMO.
These are the typical patterns one might follow, but ultimately, there are often variations of it. Typically a diffuse thinner follows a different pattern and therefore it's more difficult to determine where he/she might fall.
I've attached a photos of the norwood scale for your reference.
Just my thoughts...

That seems to be a better chart I was a sure 5A.

Rogaine foam is da stuff, no irration, no draw backs, doesnt even smell bad. Much better than the liquid crap,

Everyone is different. I thought after 3 weeks,
with little shedding. I was seeing growth,
well no I was seeing the previous shaved hair(little there was) regrowing. Then the shedding seem to happen about 90 percent happened within
a few days. My HT was July 10th. Now I am getting some pimples and Looks like shaved wiskers on the top of my head, so My regrowth I can say is starting, I am less than five weeks.
-
Spray the grapfs with a spray bottle. They gave me the sprayer bottle. The next morning then after and spray for a long time each day to stop the crusts.Keep em wet! I even put the copper petite
shampoo in the sprayer them sprayed clean water rinse. Did not loss any grafts to crusts.
Your whole head will be a scab if you do not work hard on cleaning and care.

You know how it is the grafts are in, after twenty years on bald on top, they look so good even though they were only barely an 1/8 tall. Mine stayed firm and the stubble of hairs that was shaved was coming back though by week 2-3
Looking like I am a freak and my grafts are growing. NOT! within the next 4 days. I shead about 80-90 percent of the grafts. Now 4th week is over and where the grafts fell out. under 2 mag lense. Grafts are on the move growing, not all but it looks real promiseing

Oh and the foam in much better than the spray as far as iritation of the skin

If you put it in one spot, Does it spread it's effect beyond the area in contact?
