  1. If I am not mistaken they pull from the neck up and not the crown back to close the donor area.
  2. As you know I had my 6 procedure 1 month ago and have never experienced shockloss like this session. I had the 1/3 front head done and wow it really thinned out alot but it has somewhat tapered off now thank God. Hair feels very dry that remained. This is all transplanted hair which was htere before the surgery as well.
  3. To clarify, I didnt mean Dr Charles wasn't concerned he just reassured me it was rare but normal. He did ask me to come immediately in the office to survey the situation. PB: I would say about 15% as a fair estimate. I am day 6 now and have been shampooing normally under the shower head. I have noticed it is slowing down now. Maybe it was because I wasnt losing the normal amount I usually do pre HT because I wasn't scrubbing my head but using the bucket. In any case it has slowed. Tonights shower maybe 10 hairs came out! Oh vanity!!
  4. Christian, I have been a bodybuilder my whole life. I have used gear in the past and attribute my hair problem 100% to the juice and genetics. Trust me you will get no pity here or anywhere else if you use again nor will I. You have to decide, hair or huge, no in between unless you aren't susceptible to dht. Try AI's they give you a good kick but are non hormonal.
  5. Hi Pat, I did call Dr Charles today who wasn't the least bit concerned and said this has occurred before. He did warn me not to use any combs or tug the existing hair in anyway which I was doing! I was trying to comb my hair and cover the grafts before I had to work and all of the exisiting hair was falling out! Dr Charles being the awesome surgeon and friend as well, invited me to use his lasers to stregnthen the exisiting hair at no cost. After 6 surgeries I still know nothing I guess!!
  6. Its definitely old transplanted hair, Its course, firm, tough looking hair. I had no original hair! lol
  7. Hmm I had a major spurt early, month 3-4 and then very slow up until over a year for full result. The chances of permanantly losing transplanted hair like I am is slim right?
  8. It seems like its coming out from both areas, the area directly behind the surgery and in between it as well.
  9. I do remember last HT by the time the scabs fell off most of my shock had occurred already but never day 3! I am already thin in the front. I am in for a hellacious few months I guess!
  10. about 1200 grafts in the frontal third and hairline
  11. Im going to work tomorrow and just was playing with my hair to see if I could conceal the scabs. He filled in the hairline and frontal third in between work that was done previously. Its falling out like mad.
  12. clarification I am combing the hair over the grafts to conceal the scabs, its a comb forward but the comb isnt touching the grafts of course
  13. Nop from the recipient site. Not the scabs with the hair, the existing hair. I just comb it and it is falling out in the sink like crazy. This was all previously transplanted hair too.
  14. Hi guys, I am 3 days post op from HT with Dr Charles. I had my hairline and front third done. Previously there were about 1800-2000 grafts done by Dr Nusbaum 7 years ago. Well tonight I was combing my hair and couldnt believe how many hairs fell out! Not the newly transplanted hair with scabs but my existing hair. Anyone ever experience shock like this so soon?

  16. After my last surgery it seems like my donor has given all it could give! My density was very poor due to 5 other surgeries and substantial scar tissue. Would I be a candidate for FUE for touch ups if needed and anyone know a good Dr who does this? Thanks

  18. The anxiety is really the worse part for me. I am 3 days post op from my 6th surgery! The anesthesia needles are like a pinching which isnt that bad and only lasts seconds. You will definitely leave the surgery saying "wow that wasnt that bad at all" and will probably already want to schedule another one. Good luck!
  19. Guys I am a serious lifter here that has had several HT. When the stictches come out I usually resume normal exercise. No squats, deads, or bent rows. Dr Charles my surgeon says 7-10 days and you're fine.
  20. Interesting post. My last surgery I had a 28cm strip/1cm and only yielded 1400 grafts due to many surgeries and poor laxity! Sucks to be me!
  21. Here is top shot using flash. sorry quality arent so good giuys.
  22. A light dusting of the crown taken after surgery
  23. sorry the quality is poor but you can see where he placed the grafts all in the front.
  24. You can see how poor the density of my donor region is here
