  1. Thanks for the reply's. Gorpy I understand your point that they are real accounts. But my point is that even if they are acurate individual accounts, they point that they may be stressing could simply be false. I suppose everyone here has seen the website 'the trouble with hair transplants' now I'm not denying that this person had a bad experience, but the thing is because of this, the guy was saying that no transplants work, there all bad and never look natural. To me this is simply a lie. It just annoys me a little bit when people have to bend the truth just based on what there own experience. His account may be true and he's warning people not to make the same mistake, but if he's just preventing people like myself benefiting from a good hair transplant then I think that he's not doing a good thing. What I want no know is very simple. Do transpants really work and give natural results? Are the fantastic looking transplants that you see on this website really achievable of are they just clever camera work? And most of all it would be great to hear from someone who is very happy with there transplant. Cheers Nick
  2. I was hoping someone on here could answer a couple of questions I have concerning hair transplants. Firstly I have been searching the internet for all the information I can find on this subject. The thing is I keep getting what I think to be biased one sided info. which I don't really trust. The first camp and most frequent are the hair transplant companies who show these great looking transplants, but seem to me more interested in my money. Its hard for me to believe what they say and the pictures they show. Then I found a couple of websites about all the 'horror stories' which claim that hair transplants are all hype and do not work full stop. Again its hard to trust this as it seems like a load of bad transplant victims venting their anger and giving their subjective opinion which also seems to be a distortion of the truth. So my question is what is the truth? Do transplants really work and produce natural results? And if so what is the likelyhood of having irreversable problems occuring? I also have one more question. I have receeding temples which are getting worse every year and I am considering having my hairline transplanted. But what concerns me is the fact that if I had this done succesfully wouldnt the original hair keep receeding leaving a really strange look of having new hair transplanted at the front with new bald patches further back? I have heard that topicals like revivogen can if not grow new hair at least stop it getting any worse. Is that true? For me it would be fantastic just to be able to retain what hair I have without further balding, Im wondering if that is at all possible, then of course I would have the transplants as well. Sorry to bombard you with questions, but I would really appreciate it if anyone could get back to me on this. Thanks in advance. Nick
