    15. My final comments / advice / speculation that may have been missed in the questions above:

not shedding from rogaine foam but not really doing anything. I am happy with propecia and i hope i can get some regrowth from it

  2. jupiter,

I fell you on this one homie

I am currently 18 and stated receeding at 16. Dude listen i know its tough, however you still have to go at life 100%.

When your 35 and theres a cure and you have a full head of hair you going to have wished that you didnt spend all that time worrying about your hairloss. Its so much easier said than done but you cant retreat from your life....

also do some things that my help you increase your confidence between now and when you get a full head of hair. Hit the gym 4-5 times a week, shav your head and grow a go-tee, i dunno... No worries dude

  3. Hairdude you seem like a good guy but your time table for propecia is off.

(the following time-table is for the average person)

At three months, you should start to see a decrease in hair loss or stablilization

regrowth can happen anywhere from 5months-2 years so be patient.

unlike what hairdude stated, you will not see results in 2 months

  4. Matsuri a couple things...

    1. Many people expirence a sheeding stage from rogaine(or propecia). This is completly normail. Rogaines job is to shed weak and thin hairs, and grow them strongher and thicker. This shedding stage usually lasts 4-6 weeks but can take longer. During this time people can lose more hair then ever before.

    2. you need to give rogaine year before you can really make a judgement on whether or not its working. These products take time.

    3. I did have a simliar situation to yours. I was on the foam for over a year and decited to switch to the rogaine liquid. It killed my hairline so i switched back. Thses things can happen, id give the rogaine time.

    4. Consider using propecia. Rogaine is most effective when used in conjunction with propecia.

feel free to ask any more questions

    Take care bud.

  5. Bill,

iv taken a little break from the hairloss scene to give myself some time to clear my head about the situation.

Iv heard of people crushing up 3-4 propecia tablets then letting them dissolve in a minox solution. Not sure if it works or not but thought id ask
