Do all docs shave the recipient area prior to transplantation? Which doctors do not shave the recipient area - I am looking at 3,000 grafts and I am a nw 4.

Assuming one does not have much success with rogaine alone, wouldnt it make sense that if one goes on propecia and has been on for a while, that it is more likely to that the rogaine will start to work - since there will be improved blood flow to the follicules and much less dht the rogaine would be dealing with??

When I used to use Toppik I thought I noticed increased hair in the shower as well!!!

I wonder if it is because it expands the hair and makes it look bulkier??

After I put rogaine foam on how long should you wait to blow dry your hair?? I don't want to dry the minoxidal if I use the hair dryer too soon.

Today I took off my base ball hat and noticed 4 short 1/4 inch hairs in my cap. I am 5 months post op from my procedure so am I shedding newly transplanted hairs????

My question is this, my wife was massaging/scratching my head and when I ran my fingers thru my hair I had 10 hairs in it. I have been on propcia for 5 months shouldnt this prevent my hair from falling out??

I do know that prior to propecia when my wife would do this the same thing would happen i.e. roughly 10 hairs being in my hand.

I used Distefano for my first procedure - 2500 grafts. Good expereience. Excellent staff - I hear leonsard over charges and expects people to come back for a 2nd a and 3rd regardless of what there norwood level is.
