Hello Everyone, First I must say how much I've learned on this website. I've had 2 transplants, one where the hair is removed from the strip and left in the natural groups as a graft, and the last one where most of each hair is cut into it's own single unit. I really like the way the single unit help to soften the hairline. Anyway I stumbled across this article today. It's a pretty interesting test. I thought I would show the link so we could get some feedback going. I would love to hear what some of the more informed people have to say. I just recieved my order for proscar from one of the drug suppliers refered to on these replys. I believe it came from India? My wife saw the package and has told me she was concerned about ordering things from other countries in this troubled time we have. Also, she has concerns of me taking even a small 1/4 pill every other day. Could some of you more informed hair club members please relieve some of her concerns that I may pass the info on to her. By the way I looked at the packs of pills. They are in packs of 10 each and I don't see anything wrong physically with any of the packaging. Thanks to all.

I had what I was told was 1200 grafts back earlier last year. I could never count that many. I began to think that maybe they were refering to the number of hairs, not grafts. I even called them, and they said most people actually get more than they pay for. My hair has grown out and I wear my hair currently in bangs, so it's not that noticable, but I too got the U shaped row look as did you. I'm talking currently with a doctor about fixing my hairline.

For my Tulsa transplant I believe it all came to around $40 dollars. There were 3 or 4 different medications including something to help me sleep. The drug store was within walking distance also of the Doctor's office, but I was driven there. Even though I'm still not sure of my final results at 5 months, the service was very professional. I will say that I'm begining to believe that I did'nt get the FU's like Pat recived. It's just not close enough or natural looking enough. Would a another surgery help? Most likely, but I was told I only needed one.

I'm just giving an update on my transplant from Jan. 4th, 2002. I will say that my new hair looks a lot better now that it is about 3/4 of an inch long. I was trying to fill in my "widows peak" and also increase some thickness in front. It has been almost 5 months and I do have a couple of before and after pics if anyone would like to see them.I wear my hair with bangs and now the new hair is lifting the bangs up in the front. Kind of hard to get a good hair style right now. I still find it hard to believe I got 1200 grafts. I even called them recently and they said that they count the grafts at least twice during the surgery. I have seen the pictures from Pat and I really like the way his hair looks. I was told at the Transplant center I needed an "Adult" hairline, and that 1200 is all I needed. What I don't believe they did was the single hairs in the front to create the natural look. They told be they put them as close as possible, but I have seen pictures of FU Transplants like Pat's done much closer. Again everyone there was very nice, but I'm not sure yet about the results. I may go somewhere else after these grow out to get a more natural looking front hairline.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience the Transplant Center in Tulsa Oklahoma. I had 1200 grafts done there on 1-5-02, and would love to hear anyone who has been there. I had an incredible task just getting there from the snow covered south (NC) to Tulsa. I have some questions about grafts if anyone cares to respond. My question is, although I've been told I got 1200 grafts, it just does'nt seem that I see that many spots(or holes) in my forehead. I will say that they were very nice and had a great attitude. Thanks for any responses
