  1. My hair loss began after a Persantine stress test; 2-3 months after this test is when I noticed my hair thinning. I immediately went to my Dr. who dismissed me, saying that since there were no bald patches I had no hair thinning. I returned to my Dr. a half dozen times since and each time he dismissed me, telling me that my hair was perfectly normal, there was no problem...however he suggested I use Rogaine. I have visited the Rogaine website and it states loud and clear there that hair loss at the front of the scalp is NOT affected by Rogaine. Rogaine works only at the crown of the head. My Dr. has done nothing but snow me on my hair loss problem; he has ignorantly refused to see it and it is very visibly obvious. I didn't wear my eyebrow pencil one day and showed him that my eyebrows are thinning.....FINALLY he took notice and I am seeing a specialist in February. However, my hair loss is very obvious now and I am crying over this. I am a woman, I am not supposed to lose my hair and my Dr. should have taken me seriously when I first approached him in the spring of 2005. Can anyone help me; can you recomment anything that might restore my hair growth or at least stop the hair loss. None of my medications cause hair loss that I am aware of; my only medications are Ativan and Estrogel. I lost my father just over a year ago, every medication this same Dr. prescribed to me for my nerves causes hair loss. He literally REFUSES to acknowledge and as far as I am concerned he is very ignorant as a result. I'm seeing here where some are saying that NIZOROL is helping restore hair? Is that true?
