Hey Jemma Not sure if this is appropriate or not (advertising), but we offer hair systems / hairpieces / wigs whatever you like to call them at USD$205 incl. worldwide whipping..currently we only service men but we will be launching our ladies section in about a month or 2 (same base system options but with more variation in lengths and styles) I apologize to the moderators in advance if this is considered advertising but just wanted to reply to Jemma's request to an alternate hair supplier to AHS. thanks
  2. I agree with Bill. in regards to having a transplant close to your wedding date. I guess in your case you would have a few options. You can buy a hairpiece which is quite natural looking for quite a lot less online then from a studio or consultant. BUT and this is the biggy..if you want the natural appearance you should have it cut in / fitted and maintained by a non-surgical hair replacement studio. This method will save you ALOT of money and give you the optimum non-surgical result. As far as base or system options I would recommend going for these two which are best for a naturall appearnce: (this system will be ultra light and transparent but is much more fragile so would need great care) Base - Swiss Lace Front Lace - Swiss Lace (this system is very natural with added support and longer life / adhesion) Base: Swiss Lace Side and Back: Poly perimeter Front Lace: Swiss lace now make sure to do youor research into costings, ask the sellers the right questions and make sure they are not reselling another websites systems because this can creat huge delays n getting your system as well as poor communication. good luck
  3. I agree with a previous post in regards to the "perm. solution" promise AHS have now in their advertising. It is ridiculous and they even GuArANTEE it! these guys have nerve dont they? I mean they know here offering a temp solution which is not prem. unless you have an endless bankroll to keep going back to them. So lets just say someone avergae goes for there "guarantee" and a year down the track cant afford it anymore and well..have to lose the wig it then becomes a non-perm. solution rite? so there guarantee is squashed and wouldnt leave this open for a law suit? scary
  4. I think there new tagline should be "No-No"... AHS has for years been a marketing machine and at no point have they taken a step back to actually think about what they are doing to their clients. How many people out there can afford to maintain the costs of there systems? i am based in Sydney and I'll give you a run down of there "service charges" Latest system - $1600p/pc (you need atleast 8 pcs per/year) Haircut - $75 (monthly) Cut in/fitting - $between $150-$250 lace tape - $9 now based on this and excluding the other products then it would cost you over $15000 per yr for a hairpiece!! not "Strand by Strand" or whatever they choose to market t as.. I mean yes the little chinese lady in the factory is weaving it strand by strand but not on your head! How do I know this..well I was one of their customers for years and got to know the team their very well.. you may ask why the hell would I pay so much for so long well it felt like I had no choice, I actually liked the job they did the stylists were great but I just could never get over the fact of how much my hair cost it was unbelievable. Crunch time came when I just literally could no longer afford to continue and when I went in to negotiate price the best I was offered was a $100 off and 3months worth of haircuts!! Now that i distribute my own hairpieces I see what fools we are to pay the money they charge, I go to a few different studios (various companies) accross the globe to get MY OWN system fitted and cut and dont have to worry about paying so much for hair and never feeding my children again! lol
