In another article they say there are 40 centers working on this so who knows. What the journal goes on to state is that the "industry" is in it's fourth wave: 1) wigs 2) Hair transplants 3) Hair regrowth drugs 4) The cellular wave I am a hair restoration client and have 10 years experience in the hair restoration industry, all my views are my own Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I read however the problem is that somehow cloned hair can increase the risk of tumors. Currently experts are working on overcoming that issue. I spoke to my doctor about it and he knew of the complication with the tumors and indicated it would be about ten years before it was readily available. I believe other countries will have advances of this type before the United States unfortunately because of our current administrations stance on stem cell research.
