FUECAPILAR Posted January 23 Share Posted January 23 Hi Everyone, we would like to present below a case of a patient with a Norwood III with diffuse thinning in mid scalp and crown. You can find below the details of the surgery. Patient Details Surgical Plan: Hairline reconstruction, density increase in the frontal, fronto-temporal area, mid scalp and crown. The surgery was performed in two consecutive days with 4 sessions of extraction and implantation Patient´s age: 43 years old. The patient was using finasteride and minoxidil prior to the surgery and he continued after the surgery. Hair Thickness: Average hair thickness. Hair Type: caucasian, grey hair and average thick hair Number of Grafts Implanted: 3643 grafts, 1870 grafts were implanted in the hairline and frontal area. 902 grafts were implanted in the mid scalp and 871 in the crown area. 0.8mm manual and micromotor punch were used for the extraction.
