Regular Member Approach Posted January 13 Regular Member Share Posted January 13 (edited) All international surgeons will do HT on me even though I am Norwood 6/7. *(Fyi, had 2 small HT procedures in the 1990s.)* However my question is regarding USA surgeons: I am finding some USA surgeons refuse to do a HT on me because of limited donor area. And, some are comfortable and will do it. For ex, Jerry Cooley will do it. His aim is to create an "illusion" of a fuller head and aim mostly for the frontal top of head, and also framing of face / hairline; then consider beard hair for the crown in a second surgery. Whereas, a surgeon in Dallas won't work on me at all. Any thoughts? Edited January 13 by Approach Further explanation

Regular Member Approach Posted January 13 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 13 I meant for the question to be just general in nature. But, I totally see your point. I just added some pics. Thank you
Senior Member mr_peanutbutter Posted January 13 Senior Member Share Posted January 13 i think you more close to norwood 7 then to norwood 6 due to the massiv dip and broad dip in the crown you will need beard to for an acceptable coverage the only clinics who solved your degree of baldness in the past are eugenix (india) pittella (brazil) zarev (bulgaria) to a lesser degree and only with fut (hasson&wong in vancouver) i dont see any points in looking in the usa due to the high costs your facing. you will need like 10.000 grafts, in the usa that would be easily 100.000 usd and is one of the reasons doctors in the usa dont do it that often and hence dont have the experience of a dr.pittella for example
