A shed two weeks after a HT in the recipient area is normal. But it sounds like you are losing a good number of hairs in the native area. Is this correct? My initial HT thread: done and done!! WDG Posted December 29, 2008 Author Share Posted December 29, 2008 Sorry but i don't have a camera. But i'll use your photo to show how it is. If there is any problem just tell me. The first shed area is 2cm x 0.7cm the second is just starting still have some hair in it. The first area is completely bald now and all the hair falled down in just 4 days. Areas next to transplanted area sometimes are affected by the surgery and typically do grow back in several months. Give a call to your doc to verify this. My initial HT thread: done and done!! We are 3 years past from your surgery. We would love to see your pics to evaluate how good was the procedure. I didn't see all the threads from Tyco's patients but, so far at least and except BrazilianPatient, I never saw a single patient that posted pics in a thread... not even the ones who most claim to be very happy only few days after surgery.
