crown issues
I have been struggling with crown hair loss for several years. I went to a past doctor (and I can discuss if anyone has any questions) for two previous crown procedures. Both fairly small surgeries FUT. The first for 600 graphs and the second 1,100 graphs. The first spawned a little growth whereas the second 1,100 procedure was a total failure. Medication background was topical rogaine twice daily prior to and after the first two surgeries. I was utterly disappointed with where I was and had spent close to 6,000 on the last procedure. I opted to try SMP to help cover the crown region, I will share some photos. Sadly, the SMP was not a huge success either and did little than leave extra scarring. I was on the brink of giving up. I wear my hair pretty long but the stress of the crown loss was seeming like a lost cause. I then found Dr. Benham and contacted his office in LA. Right away you can tell he is serious about helping and learning about his patients. He took the time to sit down with me and go over where I was and some possibilities about why the past surgery failed. His passion is contagious and he took on my case. He opted for FUE and we were able to harvest 2,100 graphs in a semi-shave situation. He actually took the time to discuss medications and the advantage of oral minoxidil and various vitamins and supplements to help after surgery. I am currently at the 7th month mark. I am looking forward to the final results! At this point he has already gone above and beyond. He continues to speak and consult with me and has been a huge supporter and shoulder to lean on. Here are a few pics. Edited June 9, 2023 by crown issues
Senior Member Britanium Posted June 9, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted June 9, 2023 Have you got any immediate post op pics? Out of curiosity was it Sean or Ben Benham, one is a dermatologist (Ben) and the other (Sean) does Hair Transplants.

Senior Member HappyMan2021 Posted June 9, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted June 9, 2023 @crown issues the crown is known for taking so much longer than the hairline to grow. Curious at what month post-op you started seeing growth in the crown?
