Regular Member Sunset Dune Posted April 30, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted April 30, 2023 I’m just curious a few days after surgery how do you know if you dislodge a graft such as accidents while you’re sleeping in the wrong position, does it end up bleeding a lot? Senior Member HappyMan2021 Posted April 30, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted April 30, 2023 Commonly, there is ALOT of bleeding. I think most people who have a dislodged graft are actively and consciouncesly aware of it due to the amount of blood. Its not something where like you dislodge a graft and are unaware. That being said, it certainly is possible to have a graft dislodged and have minimal blood. There is no universal rule that there must be blood. All the more reason to be very cautious for the first 3 days and protect your scalp like your life depended on it.
Senior Member Z-- Posted April 30, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted April 30, 2023 Bro chill - it’s been over nearly a month since your transplant. Even if you bump your head, unless you see loads of blood, the graft is safe at this point. You’d have to bump your head with some unholy level of force to dislodge at this point.
