Early signs of hair growth 1 month post FUE?

Hey HTN community!

I recently had a 2700 graft FUE done on January 6th 2023 (crown and hairline) by Dr. Jerry Wong. This is my second HT, first one was 1800 FUE in 2015 with Dr. Rahal. I'm one month  out and I'm patiently waiting to for my hair to grow.

I've noticed that there are small hair grafts growing in the transplanted area, I know it's early but I'm wondering if anyone can confirm if these are early signs of new hair growth?

I also experienced some shock loss which you can see in the photos, so the follicles could be those hairs coming back.

Cheers!

J

Some very lucky people don't shed their grafts at all and so do get growth from day 1.

I had quite a few survive. At 6 weeks a previously bald area looked like this:

You can see some have tiger stripes (they just continued to grow) and others have already started to grow, albeit without pigment and/or thin. Hopefully you'll be one of the lucky few too!

work looks clean! is there a reason you didn’t go back to DR Rahal?

Looks good. You say the first was in 2015, is there a particular reason why you had to get a second HT? Is it because you are not on meds? I would prefer to not take finasteride or minoxidil if it means having another HT 7 years later. So, I am curious to know what prompted yours.

Also, please how much did it cost?
