Regular Member witty Posted January 7, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted January 7, 2023 I was watching several videos about the extraction process and I don't understand how it is possible to prevent the follicles from being cut during the extraction? Here are a few examples and as you can see in the first video at 0:59 (probably) and 1:07 (definitely), two follicles have disappeared. It is not clear if it is destroyed or if it is just hair that is cut off and the follicle remains in the skin, and the hair grows back in its original place. In the first video, 2 out of 10 follicles are gone, which means an 80% survival rate at the moment, which I consider very low. Also, if the hair is implanted in an area with preexisting hair, the channels that open up can destroy the existing hair follicles. I'm right? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJfjGRzh0Tk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfiV4sOQ4Uo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tvSooScRl4
DrMunibAhmad
1.07 is a transected graft. This is one of the main reasons why hair transplants fail. A high transection rate. If your lucky it'll grow back in the donor area, but weakened due to scarring tissue. The second video gives me chills. Thats almost criminal activity to harvest like that. 1 Art-Gallery: https://fuegenix.nl/art-gallery/Before and After: https://fuegenix.nl/haartransplantatie/voor-en-na/All cases of my patients on HRN:https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/search/?&q=Fuegenix&search_and_or=or
