Regular Member lfcgerrard Posted October 28, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted October 28, 2022 5 days after surgery. I’ve noticed some of the scabs have come off almost in a vain like pattern at the front. Is that anything to be concerned about?

Regular Member lfcgerrard Posted November 24, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 24, 2022 Two weeks post op. My favourite pictures so far.. this feels like a long time ago now. I’m well and truly into the shedding stage! Donor area quite red.
Regular Member lfcgerrard Posted November 24, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 24, 2022 5 weeks - most recipient hair has fallen out now. The waiting game starts. Had a haircut today - grade 1 all over. My donor area is still pretty red but improving. This was not long after a shower, I’ve noticed it appears redder after a shower. Interested to hear people’s thoughts on the work so far? Since the transplant I’ve been taking 1.25mg oral minoxodil, monitoring blood pressure and hoping to increase to 2.5mg in a few weeks. Growth is exactly how it was before surgery just redness underneath that I’m unhappy about but is improving week by week. I was reading your post about an hour or so ago, it looks good. Very dense work, I think you’ll see a big difference. I’ll keep following your progress!
Regular Member lfcgerrard Posted December 6, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted December 6, 2022 After some advice please. I am just over 6 weeks post HT and I am having a lot of spots/pimples on my donor area. They last for a couple of days before others appear. They are quite painful and itchy, but are only small. My skin is normally very clear and I don’t get spots. I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this before? If so, what is the cause for it? Apart from this my donor area is back to normal. Senior Member StillAlive Posted December 6, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted December 6, 2022 Pretty normal, part of the healing process. Don't mess with them, they should go away for good around month 3 or so.
Regular Member lfcgerrard Posted December 6, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted December 6, 2022 Thank you. Noted. What is the cause? Hair coming back?

Regular Member lfcgerrard Posted January 16, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 16, 2023 11.5 weeks.. slightly more growth. Took these just before a haircut. I am now taking 2.5mg oral minoxidil daily, upped the dose from 1.25mg. No side effects. What do you think of progress?
Regular Member lfcgerrard Posted January 30, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 30, 2023 Above photographs were taken on 10th January. I had a haircut straight after the photos as it was looking messy. Below pictures were today (30th January) and 14 weeks post FUE. Interested to hear opinions. Not happy with how dense it is yet but a huge improvement from 2 weeks ago especially after a haircut. Going to only cut the sides for the next few months and see the progress. All images taken with flash.
Valued Contributor A_4_Archan Posted January 30, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted January 30, 2023 @lfcgerrardFrom your pics it looks as if it is not that densely packed but it may be case whr you already have your existing grafts there so doctor would have placed new ones in between them and thats y it looks sparse..though its nt appropriate to judge anythng by pics and shud give it enough time before commenting on results ... Generally it starts Geting growth after 4-5 months till 12 to 16 months..and yeh its a huge improvement and you will get more improvement as time pas by....so just hold on and relax..😊 Check Out My Hair Transplant Journey --> My Thread 3611 FUE Grafts With Dr Kongkiat Laorwong | Norwood 5 | 2nd May 2023
