Regular Member Rex99 Posted August 6, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted August 6, 2022 (edited) I'm 8 months into my first hair transplant and am pleased with the progress so far. That said, I expect I'll want to do another one to add more density. I know that I should wait 12-18 months before doing a second one. If I do plan on doing a second one what are the considerations of waiting (multiple years say) versus doing it as soon as I can after the first? I was told that if you do a second one within a year or so after versus multiple years then the shedding on the second hair transplant won't be as bad. Is that the case? Any advice or thoughts on timing of a second transplant would be appreciated. Edited August 6, 2022 by Rex99 fix typo
Senior Member HappyMan2021 Posted August 6, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted August 6, 2022 You can get a 2nd HT 10 months after the 1st. If its obvious the 1st HT growth won't satisfy your ultimate end-goal, no need to wait for longer.
