Kortis
Hey I just want to now if this looks like I’m beginning to bald. Also any advice on how to get ahead of it would be great. Here are some recent pics of my hair.
Senior Member shami26 Posted April 18, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted April 18, 2021 It's hard to tell. How old are you? And what are the Norwood levels of all the men in your family? Kortis
I’m 22. My dad and maternal grandfather both are NW 2. My other grandpa is bald. I’ve always sort of had this type of hairline if that means anything.
Senior Member shami26 Posted April 19, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted April 19, 2021 I think your hair is fine now but you're young so it could progress in the future. If your hair fall gets worse you may notice a lot of hair on your hands when you're showering or on your pillow in the morning. A dermatologist or someone knowledgeable with hair could check your hair for any miniaturization. Also, consider taking finasteride (if you don't get side effects) and minoxidil to treat hair loss. 1 Medication for Male Pattern Baldness: Topical Dutasteride - Topical Minoxidil 5% - Ketoconazole Shampoo Medication for Cicatricial Alopecia: Hydroxychloroquine - Topical Clobestasol - Doxycycline
