Senior Member Eman Posted April 11, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted April 11, 2009 My instructions were to begin using the foam (less irritating than the liquid) at the two week mark. Any earlier would probably cause too much irritation. I would follow Dr. Feller's instructions. I know most of us want to get the ball rolling as soon as possible, but be patient and just follow the doc's instructions. My initial HT thread: done and done!! Check it out... Senior Member CuriousJungleGeorge Posted April 11, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted April 11, 2009 I've heard minoxidil plays no part in the growth of transplanted hair, including in having it come in faster. As for foam vs. solution, the former is more costly, but, apparently, it might be "absorbed" slightly more efficiently.
Senior Member Maxxy Posted April 11, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted April 11, 2009 I've actually read the opposite, many doctors are now recommending Minoxidil post-op with the believe it may help transplanted hairs come in quicker. I decided against it after a massive shred on Foam, pre-op.
