Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted July 7, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted July 7, 2016 This represents a significant improvement with a relatively small procedure for a NW6. What is his crown like? Is he on meds to maintain existing hair? David - Former Forum Co-Moderator and Editorial Assistant I am not a medical professional. Regular Member Bernstein Medical Posted July 8, 2016 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 8, 2016 Hi David, Good question. He has been on finasteride and got good regrowth on the back part of his scalp, so it was not necessary to transplant there. All the grafts were placed in the front/mid-scalp so, in a sense, even though he is a Class 6 technically, he was transplanted as if he were a NW 4A. He plans to remain on finasteride.
