Senior Member shanson Posted October 26, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted October 26, 2015 I am over 9 months post FUE and all my new growth has grown much darker than the rest of my hair. I have brown hair but the transplanted hair is growing almost black. Has this happened to anyone else? All the photos i see the hair looks to be the same colour. I do not understand why my hair isn't and if this will change over time?

Dr Blake Bloxham
Shanson, Does the hair in your donor region appear darker in general? Are there any other character changes to the hair aside from the color (texture, curl, etc)? Sharing a few images may be helpful too. Dr. Blake Bloxham is recommended by the Hair Transplant Network. Senior Member shanson Posted October 28, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 28, 2015 I hadn't noticed the back of my head having darker hair. This photo was from two months ago. My hair is still dark where i had the grafts. There is a kink still in the left side.
