Donor area scabs.. advice needed!

Hi I had a HT, my third on 14th June.. Now for some reason I have pretty bad scabs in the donor area.. Is this usual?.

A couple of places I tried to soak and then ease off a scab that had become a little loose. This takes a bunch of hair with it.. Not the follicle thankfully, but I guess they may well be dead near the scar anyway?

Should I leave the remaining scabs as they are??

I can't recall if it was like this in previous ops for some strange reason. I think after my 2nd HT I did weight-training too soon and probably stretched the donor area so that there was almost half an inch of bare skin! This time Im not going to exercise for 4 months! Put on a few pounds already but needs must!

Ok thanks thats put my mind at rest. I was considering getting antibiotics!.. One thing that I have noticed is that my donor area is tighter at this stage than it was the 2nd time. Theres only so much stretching that you can do!

Hi

Its normal .A good way to rid the scabs is to soak your head in the bathtub. Then shampoo as normal but do not force them off.
