salt solution used to help extract the grafts?

hello,

 

i've heard of cases where the grafts were difficult to extract so the surgeon had to inject a salt solution into the skin to make it easier to get the grafts out. i read that this is a reason for a worse growing rate.

 

i wonder how often this is necessary. is there any way to determine whether my grafts can be extracted normally or whether its gonna be difficult?
