tom84 Posted May 31, 2011 Share Posted May 31, 2011 Hi, I am using Minoxidil 5% - 1 ml daily since Last 5 months. I don't use any other medication. I didn't experience any gr8 shedding till last month and i had a feeling that my hair look somewhat better than before (not worse for sure). But since last 1 month I am experiencing shedding and I don't know what to do. I thought it will stop but its still on and now my scalp is visible. Its really scary. Shall I stop minoxidil? Regular Member Sigildark Posted June 1, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted June 1, 2011 (edited) The makers of Rogaine state that if shedding goes on for longer then two weeks after you start using, that you should stop usage and consult a doctor. I know that some people say that shedding is a good sign but that's not the official stance in respect to the product. I do believe that shedding consists of losing more than 100 hairs a day.
