Regular Member nawoak Posted November 24, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted November 24, 2010 Hello, I have done already 2 hair transplant operations in Thailand. The first one in April 2008 (with a Thai Beauty clinic): around 1000 grafts The 2nd one in Dec 2008 (with Dr. Path) around 1500 grafts I m planning to proceed to the 3rd operation with Dr. Madhu in India on Dec. the 22nd 2010. I m a 30years old French male living in Tokyo. I have a very white skin with a strong contrast of dark hair. I want to get more density on the previous implanted areas and fix a strong and dense front hairline. I have asked Dr. Madhu and he said it s possible to do the operation without shaving the receiving areas (paying an extra RS: 20,000 = 437usd). I ll do like that, then. This operation will require about 1500 grafts. I have been checking the discussions for long time in the forum and visited Dr. Madhu website, but I haven’t seen any photo of Caucasian (white people). Therefore I will put photos and I will update information about the future hair transplant with Dr. Madhu. Maybe it can help people to evaluate the possible result for those who have the same characteristics as mine: dark hair and white skin color. I ll keep updating photos about the new hairline, back scare and my feelings about the operation. I hope it will be a nice experience for me and it would help people to find out more answers through photos and comments.
Regular Member nawoak Posted January 15, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 15, 2011 I had my operation on the 22nd of Dec. 1547 have been transplanted. The scar is about 22cm long and healing pretty well. The part he took was not that wide, like up to 7mm. According to the doctor, they have implanted around 45 graft per cm2 on the front area and put inside between previous transplanted hair. It s been over 3 weeks now and I started to lose the new hair a week ago (on the 3rd week) I experienced a little shock loss but my hair are long enough to hide it. I ll post photos of before and after plus the scar Question: is it normal to start losing lots of transplanted hair already on the 3rd week? first photo is right after op. 2nd to 4th fotos are 2days later 5th to 7th are 3 days later

Senior Member RodG Posted January 16, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 16, 2011 (edited) Hi, Thank you for taking the time to document your HT with Doctor Madhu's clinic. I had a HT with DHT Clinic in Thailand in August 2010. I would dearly like to go back for a second run to add some hair to my crown but cost is a major consideration. The photographs that you have shown appear to show that the procedure went quite well. How do you feel about having to to wait for the results to grow? Regular Member nawoak Posted January 21, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 21, 2011 the first 3 weeks are always a bit annoying because it s difficult to hide it, I had to be very careful to keep it clean (which isnt easy when you travel in India) so I have to put a stupid towel on my hand, but now my hair look better. Putting them forward to the front I can hide the implant area which is still red and gonna stay for another few months like this I guess. It is recommended to keep it moisturized. The doctor recommended me to put some oil. I also put aloe vera gel twice a day. The waiting part is long as it takes about 4months for the new hair to grow up. So I m waiting and looking forward to see how it s gonna be. If every or most of them grow as they are supposed to, it will be a big change for me... I ll be able to choose the hair style I want, the length I want and no more the hairstyle will have choose for me. I m still waiting to see the final result to give my final opinion but Dr. Madhu team was very nice and they took time to understand and consider my request. The price he offers today has increased of 10% more since end of last year so it s now 1.10usd per graft basically. I didnt want to carry lots of cash or go to the ATM 8 times as the limit per time is about 200usd and they accepted me to pay by credit card. So I ll put some new photos in a few months
