Guest
I am 5.9 months post op now and happy with the overall results. However, it seems that my new hair that started growing about 2.5 months ago and is about 2 inches long now has slowed its growth rate in length. I mean my hair around it seems to grow longer faster than the new hair. Is this normal..does it seem to take longer for the new hair to get length or am I potentially in some dormant stage or something? Is this anything I should worry about? Senior Member GuitarPlayer Posted February 18, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted February 18, 2006 Not_A_Cylon, It just takes time. You have to be patient. Don't expect to be able to assess the full results of a transplant until about a year. At six months post-op, you probably only have about 60% or so of your new growth coming in.
