Regular Member SocialD Posted June 21, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted June 21, 2007 I've been on Merck Propecia for about a year now and it's really working great. However I've been hunting around for a less expensive source and found: Canadadrugsonline.com My question is am I going to see any diffrence in the effectiveness between the Merck Propecia and the generic propecia? Thanks

Senior Member pushing 40 Posted June 21, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted June 21, 2007 As long as it comes from a reputable manufacturer, there is no difference whatsoever.

Senior Member YoungGuy Posted June 22, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted June 22, 2007 Social, I recommend that you find a doctor (HT surgeon or a dermatologist) and ask for a prescription for Propecia; thia way you may end up being covered by your health insurance and pay very little. You could also ask them to prescribe Proscar; you can cut the pills into 4 pieces and have the same result even cheaper. Personally, I have a prescription for Proscar and cut each pill into 4. Total cost comes out to $10 per bottle, so it's $3/month. Hard to beat that deal.
