Regular Member pokerbrat Posted July 27, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted July 27, 2007 I am trying to get any tips for post op care and things i will need that will help in the recovery process..So far i have 1.Get hotel rooms the night before and after 2.Order Dermatch? and get Aloe Vera for redness? 3.Get an icepack for at home and advils for pain 4.No drinking a week before surgery 5 Bring an ipod to surgery to distract. Guest wanthairs Posted July 27, 2007 Share Posted July 27, 2007 Hi Poker...... also some sort of head band to reduce swelling from dropping down your whole face. Ask your doc if he recommends any oil or lotion to rub your head with for faster healing. My doc alos recommended a high dose of vitamin c to speed up healing........hopefully you have chosen a good doc and we all wish you very well..... You doctor will provide you with post-op care instructions; follow them to the letter. Other issues may come up during different stages of your post-op recoevery but you can addrss those if and when they happen. Good luck with your surgery.
