Malik
Two week have passed since my mega session of 2000 grafts hair transplantation. Should I start now Propecia once a day and start applying Minoxidil/Rogain 5% twice daily? Is it safe now to apply? Can I resume my Gym now? Thanks for the guidance..... Senior Member GuitarPlayer Posted January 29, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted January 29, 2006 Malik, What do your post-op instructions say? You should really ask your doctor first. In general, one should wait at least a few weeks before applying Rogaine. This is because Rogaine contains alcohol, which can kill the grafts. I believe Propecia can be taken right away. You should probably wait at least a month before heavy weight lifting. Again, you should check with your doctor first. GuitarPlayer
Senior Member MrJobi Posted January 30, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted January 30, 2006 Hi I never stopped taking my Propecia during either of my surgeries. As far as minoxidil check with your doctor ( Min gave me a post op DVD). Working out can be tricky as I would refrain from heavy weights but you can do some light cardio with no prob at 2 weeks. Just take it easy JOBI 1417 FUT - Dr. True 1476 FUT - Dr. True 2124 FUT - Dr. True 604 FUE - Dr. True My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations.
