Senior Member baldcasanova Posted April 3, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted April 3, 2005 i would say on the norwood scale you would be a norwood 2. it appears that your temples are thinning out. your crown look good though. ____________________________ 630 FUT - 8/27/03 2200 FUT - 5/20/05 2000 FUT - 12/15/07 "i haven't been this bald since.... well... since I was born!" Senior Member JacobS Posted April 4, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted April 4, 2005 It's fairly hard to tell what's going on up there because you are coming your hair forward but a 2 looks right. As baldcasanova says you have a strong crown and to be honest I'd say you have way too much hair to be considering a procedure. Are you using the minox. on the front. You'll want to protect/ maintain the crown with propecia.
Senior Member Robert_ Posted April 4, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted April 4, 2005 Echoing the above sentiments, you look like a NW2. Minoxidil can work on the hairline. Like JacobS said above try medications before jumping into surgery, if only to stabilize your hair loss. Keep researching to determine your best route. Definitely check into Finasteride (Propecia) to keep what you have. -Robert ------------------------------ Check out the results of my surgical hair restoration performed by Dr. Jerry Cooley by visiting my Hair Loss Weblog
