After browsing these forums and doing research for the last 4 months, I had my procedure performed on 9/23/08 (Last Tuesday). I had actually placed a deposit with a local facility in July, but opted to change doctors due to some concerns I had.

 

Ultimately, I went with Dr. carmen at La Jolla Hair Restoration

 

1 procedure - 2640 grafts implanted

 

It looks great, and I am fully aware of what will happen. I will of course post some before afters, but for my first post Ill simply say this:

 

The procedure is not too bad. I was very concerned that I would go nuts sitting in a chair for so long, or that I would get super nervous and sit in a state of anxiety.. Didnt happen.

 

I was in the chair for just over 9 hours, which I was told was a little longer than normal, but they did a significant number of units, and sometimes it just takes a little longer.

 

Three people were on my head most of the time, and when space got tight, just one.

 

Great experience, and Ill be adding a lot more soon!!!
