Guest
Hi all, Just wondering, I know I've looked this up before, but I think some people have used a bunch of these terms loosely and I am all confused. What's the difference between, FU, FUE, and anything else out there?

Senior Member GuitarPlayer Posted December 29, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted December 29, 2005 FU stands for Follicular Unit. FUE stands for Follicular Unit Extraction. You only want to consider docs doing follicular unit transplants. This then differentiates into "strip" and "fue." Anything other than follicular unit transplants is outdated. Senior Member Robert_ Posted December 30, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted December 30, 2005 GuitarPlayer is absolutely correct. For more information on "strip" and "FUE" methods of graft harvesting, take a look at these pages: Follicular-unit-transplant "Strip" Follicular-unit extraction "FUE" -Robert ------------------------------ Check out the results of my surgical hair restoration performed by Dr. Jerry Cooley by visiting my Hair Loss Weblog
