paulrrb
GUYS, I AM ONE OF THOSE MISERABLE SOULS WHO HAVE TROUBLE WITH ED. HAVE BEEN VIAGRA (AND ITS CHEAP VARIANTS WHEN I VISIT ASIA) FOR SOME TIME. NOW MY DOC PRESCRIBES FINASTERIDE FOR BALDNESS. I WAS WONDERING IF USING BOTH THESE DRUGS SAME TIME CAN CAUSE ANY TROUBLE. VIAGRA PROBABLY WORKS BY INCREASING SOME HORMONE LEVEL, ENHANCING THE LIBIDO. FINASTERIDE IS PROBABLY DESIGNED TO REDUCE MALE HORMONE LEVEL, ISN'T THAT SO? TAKING THE TWO DRUGS CAN BE PROBLEM? WHAT ABOUT CHEMICAL COMPOSITIONS OF THE DRUGS? WILL THEY HARM. DO WE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCES HERE? ANY COMMENTS?

Senior Member pushing 40 Posted July 17, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted July 17, 2007 It is my understanding they will not interfere with each other in any way; one doesn't even know the other is there. It has to do with the structural chemical composition of each and how they interact with the body. This is from my reading and web research of Propecia since I started taking it. However, it is BEST to research it some more AND ask your physician AND pharmacist to be safe and sure.
Regular Member Jason76 Posted July 19, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted July 19, 2007 You are pretty safe on this one fella. I have searched around for you and I cannot find any problems with taking propecia and viagra together. Most docotors recommend it if you are experiencing erectile dysfunction with propecia anyways.
