Regular Member SETT Posted June 16, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted June 16, 2007 hi all, i've been taking proscar for awhile now but i just though the other day should i be taking it before i go to bed or with food i know some medcine needs to be takin at night or morning (certain times) or with food is proscar the same i normaly take it about lunch time now or doesnt it matter ? Senior Member bayscholar Posted June 16, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted June 16, 2007 I read some-where Dht levels peak around 9-10am for most guys, so if you take it at night before you go to bed it would be the best timing wise to combat that. With that said its easier for me to take my meds in the morning so thats what I do. You can take propecia w/or w/out food. So I have been taking propecia before bed for the last 3 months, but I can't really see any improvement on the latter. Old wives tale? who knows thought I would give it a shot though.
